Howard Dickson, Local Arrangements Committee

Just a few quick final items as the Local Arrangements Committee (LAC) prepares to engage with you at the 64th Annual Meeting of the Health Physics Society (HPS) in Orlando, 7–11 July 2019.

The LAC merchandise sales booth will be located near the HPS registration booth. Polo shirts for men and women will be available for $35 each, baseball caps for $25 each, adult T-shirts for $20 each, and children's T-shirts for $15 each. Get yours early while the selection is best! The merchandise booth will be open the same hours as the registration booth.

Companions who might be abandoned by your health physicist spouses need not worry. Monday morning at 9:00 in the Lake Highland A Room, you will receive an orientation to assist you with navigating the meeting and all the Orlando area offers.

We know your schedule is beginning to fill up with important meetings and revelries, but it would be a mistake if you miss MERL. What is MERL, you ask? Well, it is none other than the Florida Bureau of Radiation Control's Mobile Radiological Monitoring Laboratory, and it will be on display in the Hilton parking lot Tuesday, 9 July, from 10:00 a.m. until approximately 4 p.m. (or until the last customer is served).
