Ludlum Measurements will hold a free training class during the 2019 HPS Annual Meeting, 9 July, 9 a.m.–4:30 p.m. The class will be led by Dru Carson, who has 30 years of experience in the radiation detection industry and will teach some basics for improving skills.

The class will consist of basic calibration techniques, cpm calibration, simulated exposure rate calibration of an analog meter, and overview of the Ludlum Model 3000 series of meters using the Lumic calibration software. Attendees will get hands-on experience with test equipment and survey meters provided.

The course will be held in the Lake George Room at the Hilton Orlando with a break for lunch. Refreshments will be provided by Ludlum Measurements.
