New WHO National Radon Database
On 4 February 2021, World Cancer Day, the World Health Organization (WHO) launched a new National Radon Database on policies and regulations, as well as an updated Radon and Health fact sheet. Over the past 18 months, WHO has developed a survey to gather the current state of affairs on radon activities and regulations around the world. Responses received from 58 countries (over a quarter of WHO's Member States) have been gathered in the new database. A list of regulations\reference levels for occupational radon exposure is included.
