Charles Wilson, 2021 Annual Meeting Task Force Chair
The Health Physics Society's (HPS) first-ever hybrid annual meeting starts in less than a month in Phoenix, Arizona. The 66th HPS Annual Meeting will take place virtually on 20 and 22 July and both in person and virtually 25–29 July.
How does a pandemic impact health physicists? Hear from HPs, students, and professionals across the world in one of the biggest sessions in recent HPS conference history covering how COVID changed us. This three-part session will take place Tuesday, 20 July (virtual—Pandemic Experiences Part 1), Monday, 26 July (Pandemic Experiences Part 2), and Wednesday, 28 July (Pandemic Experiences Part 3).
Get a small glimpse into the world of veterinary health physics in the virtual special session on 22 July. Speakers cover several key aspects on the future of this field.
Curious how to be a part of the future? Attend Tuesday morning's special session on what tomorrow holds for the HPS and follow it up with the early-career professional's special session on Wednesday afternoon covering experiences and opportunities in our field.
A few notes to all speakers:
- Everyone must upload their slides for review (portal will be open soon).
- Remote speakers must practice connections one week before speaking (if you haven't already, email Megan Lobaugh to verify your presentation format. An email will be sent to schedule practice soon.
- Prerecorded talks must also be uploaded one week before presenting.
