The 67th Health Physics Society (HPS) Annual Meeting is less than two months away. Register now so you don't miss out on a great week of technical and special sessions, exhibits, and special events. Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday will begin with one-hour-long plenary sessions before we break out to the technical and special sessions. The meeting will be fully hybrid. We hope to see you in person, but if you are unable to travel, you can still participate in all of the sessions virtually.
Please plan to stay at the conference hotel
The hotel rates that the HPS has negotiated include many benefits for you and for the HPS. Based on the number of rooms in the HPS block of hotel rooms, the hotels provide complimentary meeting room space and reduced food and beverage charges. These savings are passed on to attendees through HPS inexpensive registration rates. If HPS is unable to meet its room-block commitment because attendees are making reservations at other hotels, the hotels charge HPS an attrition fee to make up the hotel's lost revenue. If this were to become a trend, HPS would be forced to increase the registration fee and cut services. If you are joining us in person, please book your discounted hotel room in the HPS block at the Davenport Grand.
Make sure to order your conference shirt
Official polo shirts for the Spokane meeting can now be ordered online. We are offering the shirts in both men's and ladies' styles and in your choice of three colors: ultramarine blue, steel gray, and orange, all having the embroidered meeting logo. Price (before tax and shipping) is $35. If you choose to pick up your shirt at the Spokane meeting, you can save the shipping cost. Otherwise, the shirt will be shipped directly to you within about two weeks of your order.
Enjoy the Social Program
Be sure to check out all of the social events offered in addition to the conference. Book now so we meet our minimums and don't have to cancel any events due to low attendance.
We look forward to having you be a part of this great conference in July. Questions? Be sure to email us.
