The 67th Health Physics Society (HPS) Annual Meeting was held in Spokane, Washington, 17–21 July 2022. The meeting was fully hybrid and included both in-person and virtual options. Three plenary sessions were held this year, one each morning on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.
Monday Plenary: The International and Historical Perspective
In his welcoming comments, HPS President John Cardarelli, left, explained that the focus for Monday was on the international and historical perspective of radiation protection. International Commission on Radiological Protection Scientific Secretary and CEO Christopher Clement, center, presented his G. William Morgan Lecture, "Radiological Protection for the Next Generation." The Robert S. Landauer, Sr., Lecture was given by Ed Calabrese, right, of the University of Massachusetts/Amherst, who joined virtually and spoke about the history of the LNT model and the controversy it has engendered.

Tuesday Plenary: The National Perspective
Tuesday morning's plenary session, opened by HPS President John Cardarelli, left, was on radiation protection from a national perspective. National Academy of Sciences Engineering and Medicine Committee Chair Joe Gray, center, joined the session virtually with the prerecorded presentation "Leveraging Advances in Modern Science to Revitalize Low-Dose Radiation Research in the United States." National Council on Radiation Protection and Measurements President Kathryn Held, right, gave her G. William Morgan Lecture "NCRP: New Initiatives in Radiation Protection Sciences."

Wednesday Plenary: The Individual Perspective
At the Wednesday plenary session, first photo, left to right, Division of Compensation Analysis and Support Director Grady Calhoun, HPS Military Health Physics Section President Col. After opening comments by Cardarelli, Reyes introduced Roadman, who presented the inaugural Commander James Cassata Memorial Lecture, "History and Accomplishments of the Veterans Advisory Board on Dose Reconstruction." Calhoun then gave his Robert S. Landauer, Sr., Lecture, "EEOICPA Overview"

The Sign In button is at the top right side of the page. The sessions are available from the Schedule tab. If you have trouble finding/accessing your Pathable link, email meetings@HPS.org and ask to have your sign-in information sent to you. If you did not previously register and would like to view sessions from the meeting, register on the meeting website. Sessions from the 67th HPS Annual Meeting will be available until 31 December.
