Exactly three years ago, in 2019, the Baltimore-Washington Chapter of the Health Physics Society (BWCHPS) Local Arrangements Committee (LAC) met at the Gaylord National Resort and Conference Center to plan what was to be the 2020 HPS Annual Meeting. We all now know what happened next. So here we are on the backside of COVID-19 and once again we've begun the planning—this time for the 2023 meeting. The 68th HPS Annual Meeting will be held 23–27 July 2023 at Gaylord National Resort and Conference Center in National Harbor, Maryland.

From those of us who call the DC metropolitan area home, we welcome you to the meeting. The hotel and the venues are fabulous. There is a lot to do in National Harbor. Reagan National Airport, the National Mall, and Alexandria, Virginia, are less than 25-minutes away by Uber. Water taxis also service National Harbor, up the Potomac, to Georgetown.

We are currently working on polo shirt designs and on the schedule of outside activities, including a Pub Crawl, Nationals baseball game, tour of the National Mall, and more. Please check the meeting website, under ABOUT, for postings as they are developed.
