68th HPS Annual Meeting: Activities and Tours Being Planned

The Baltimore-Washington Chapter of the Health Physics Society (BWCHPS) Local Arrangements Committee (LAC) is very excited to host the 68th HPS Annual Meeting, 23–27 July 2023, in our nation's capital region, National Harbor, Maryland. The BWCHPS-LAC will finalize the activities and tours schedule by the time the preliminary program is released, in March 2023.

Potential activities include Washington Nationals Baseball night, Night Out at a piano bar, 5k fun walk/run, and a private tour of the Nuclear Ship (N.S.) Savannah at Baltimore Harbor. This may be your last chance to see the NS Savannah in person! Learn more about the NS Savannah on the Maritime Administration website and on the N.S. Savannah Association website.

The LAC, as it did in 2020, will be taking pre-orders for polo shirts, January–April. To gauge level of interest with various organized activities, the LAC will conduct a survey in early January. Contact Gary Chen if you have any specific suggestions or questions.
