Elections

Women in Radiation Protection Section members who have not yet voted in section elections can use this link to vote for the newest officers. Elections will close on 20 July, right before the start of the 68th Health Physics Society (HPS) Annual Meeting.

Inclusivity Award

Submissions for the Inclusivity Award were closed at the beginning of June. The section officers are now evaluating the nominees, and the winner will be announced at the awards luncheon at the HPS annual meeting. Thanks to everyone who submitted packets for nominations! The winner will also be notified prior to the awards luncheon.

Annual Meeting

• Make sure to attend the Women in Radiation Protection Special Session!
  • It will be Wednesday, 26 July, 9:40 am–12:10 pm, in Woodrow Wilson D.
  • We have some amazing speakers lined up and ready to discuss the topics you all suggested during our section meeting, including managing remotely, pregnancy declaration discussions, and experiences in different health physics specialties. Take a look at the online program for more information.
  • Our session will include two sections of panel discussions so we can continue with the good energy from last year's session.
• We are still trying to finalize the social event details. You will receive another email closer to the event with additional information.
