The China Institute for Radiation Protection (CIRP) Celebrates Its 50th Anniversary
The China Institute for Radiation Protection (CIRP) is celebrating the 50th anniversary of its founding. CIRP researchers and staff have made important contributions in the science and practice of radiation protection both in China and abroad. CIRP plays an important and leading role as the preeminent research establishment solely dedicated to radiation protection in China. It does important work in a wide variety of technical disciplines, including health physics, nuclear medicine, radioactive waste management, and environmental protection. Some CIRP employees are also members of the Health Physics Society.
Health Physics Society President Kathy Pryor sent a letter of congratulations to CIRP President Xueqi Chang.
